We are fortunate enough to be surrounded by the materials and resources we need to craft tools and weapons such as spears, axes and carrying vessels.
Noongar people made wood and stone tools and used different shaped tools for specific purposes. This workshop will include an overview of traditional tools and a display of authentic artefacts.
Attendees will learn the theory of how these tools were made using traditional methods and materials.A key component of tool making is the use of fire. Join us as we discuss the importance of fire in our culture and life and teach you how to make a fire and tools the traditional way.
