Makuru-Djilba Youth Retreat

Harvey Aboriginal Corporation held the second camp in the Korijekup Keyen Moort (One Harvey Community) project on 4-6 August 2023. Binningup Christian Youth Camp was the ideal location to host over 50 people who enjoyed a weekend of connection and engagement, along with a range of activities focused on improving the seven areas of social and emotional well being:

  • Connection to Country

  • Connection to Mind and Emotions

  • Connection to Body

  • Connection to Culture

  • Connection to Community

  • Connection to Family and Kinship

  • Connection to Spirit, Spirituality and Ancestors.
