Noongar Kaartdijin Walk

  • Noongar Kaartdijin Bidi 1 James Stirling Place Harvey, WA, 6220 Australia (map)

As custodians of ancient history, knowledge and culture, our Elders will provide you with an insight into bush plants, food and medicine, as well as share stories of the local area and activities. This tour takes participants along the Noongar Kaartdijin Bidi (Noongar Knowledge Trail) which runs adjacent to the magical Harvey River through the healing peppermint trees. A series of ten pieces of locally created artwork depict the story of the river and its importance to Noongar people.

This event includes a Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony.

Thank you to Shire of Harvey and National Indigenous Australians Agency for supporting this event.
